Welcome to the Push May Newsletter Edition! This is a month in review!
Push Mobility News from Victoria!
May was a busy (and freezing!) one in Melbourne.
We have had a heap of interest in our racing wheelchairs, and our off-road handcycles are continuing to be popular for trials around the country!
We are super excited about the Invictus Smart Plus wheelchair exercise rollers unit, and look forward to our demo which will be gracing our shores before too long! Please let us know if you would like to schedule a time to demo our unit at one of our showroom locations and we will be sure to make it happen!
Lastly, we've been booking in a heap of in-services for OTs and Physios from a variety of organisations at our Push Mobility showroom in Abbotsford. Our in-services provide such great opportunities for building relationships, showcasing our innovative range of products, and getting the knowledge out there about what is available and possible!
If anyone is interested, please don't hesitate to reach out to our friendly team!
Alex was away doing some handcycle racing in Italy and Belgium so Darren did a great job of keeping things on track (pardon the pun).
Alex raced the first 2 UCI para cycling world cups, he managed a 14th out of 50 people in his class!
He also did a one day race in Flanders where he finished 5th.
We also had a successful PD day this month where it was great to catch-up with some new and familiar faces.
We have also had a few new power soccer wheelchairs come in for our customers so we are looking forward to seeing the new chairs in their upcoming games!
The highlight being a last minute call up to head up to Cairns and attend the Crankworx MTB festival.
We were asked by event organisers to come up and help showcase all things Adaptive MTB with the Bowhead bikes we sell. We were able to help numerous local clients demo bikes and to successfully showcase what's possible with these bikes.
Both Grant & Renee got track time on the Dual Slalom course, took part in group rides with able bodied riders and Grant also completed a successful solo run down the entire Pro Downhill course.
The end of month sees us hosting another of our in-house education days for therapists with a full house.
