Adventure, fun and smiles guaranteed...
The Bowhead Reach is the pinnacle of Adaptive MTB's. Nothing comes close. Sure this bike is capable of being a high powered and capable piece of equipment that will allow riders to have fun on nearly all MTB trails.
It's also a piece of equipment that will allow you to access places safely and easily that you might never have thought of getting to or getting back to. Use it to camp, use it to go fishing use it to go and get amongst any environment you choose to take it to.
The articulating front end of this bike ensures you are safe and capable of tackling virtually anything you put in front of it.
Don't wait forever... Some suppliers might take over 12 months to get you a bike but we turn these bikes around quickly. Delivery times of less than 6 weeks are what to expect.
We have demo bikes and a team of staff that know and understand these bikes incredibly well. We also can help navigate the process of getting one of these bikes through different funding channels also.

Testimonials:
"The Bowhead Reach is a piece of equipment that I had wanted to own and use for a long time. I cannot really begin to put into words what this bike means to me and how it has changed my life for the better. I suffered a SCI 12 years ago MTB riding. Riding bikes has always been my life. I have missed doing what I love for so long and now to effectively have back what I was missing with the help of the Bowhead bikes is something that means so much to me.
The Reach is the bike that I use as my go to for really aggressive MTB riding and jumping. In saying that though, it is also an amazing piece of equipment that I use to get around places like my Parents farm and other challenging off-road environments. The Reach is something far more than just a crazy MTB.
A big thing that I love with both of these bikes is sharing the joy. Being able to afford other people the chance to ride one and show them what is available to make their life better is something I get a huge sense of satisfaction from."

"After sustaining a spinal cord injury 16 years ago riding mountain bikes, I spent a long time not being able to enjoy the sport that I loved. I was introduced to adaptive mountain biking about 5 years ago and at the time I got one of the only adaptive mountain bikes available in Australia. I always felt limited by that bike’s ability to handle the terrain I want to ride.
Since Push started bringing the Bowhead Reach into Australia I was able to take it for a trial and as soon as I hopped on the Reach, that feeling of being limited by the equipment disappeared and I was confidently able to go down trails that I wasn’t able to before. It has brought me the confidence to go riding with my friends and partner again and not feel like I’m holding them back, I’m just another rider enjoying the outdoors again.
But it’s not just mountain bike trails that the Bowhead Reach opens the doors to, it’s a great piece of equipment for getting out and experiencing nature and places that is really hard or impossible to take a regular wheelchair. The seated position makes it comfortable to spend a bit of time on the bike and not get uncomfortable or sore."

FAQ's:
How long does the battery last?
The best thing to remember here, you will honestly wear out before the battery does. The bike is still physically taxing to ride despite it being motor powered. The bike will likely run for 2-3 hours worth of riding time depending on rider weight and conditions.
Can you do quad controls?
YES! We have so many options and customisation options for Quads, best thing to do is talk to us but this bike is the BEST option going for quads.
Titanium or steel frame?
If you’re wanting to ride aggressively and do jumps, titanium is a must. If you’re riding more passively, stainless steel is fine. Titanium is the FOREVER option and much easier to do right away rather than later.
20” or 24” Wheels?
24’s offer more ground clearance and better stability with better tyre choices also available. 20’s are nimble and lively but tyre choices are limited, ground clearance is less but still acceptable. 20” wheels are how the bike comes as standard.
How do I choose my seat width & harness size?
We can help! There is also a great sizing chart available on the order form. We will help with this through the process and at time of trialling a bike.
Will NDIS fund a bike & how do I go about this?
Potentially yes! We have seen many bikes funded by NDIS but each case is unique and depends on your goals as well as your plan. We can give great insight into this and help, the best thing is to call and speak with us, especially Grant from our team who has great experience with this process from start to end.
What upgrades can I request on the bike?
We can offer a number of options from improvements to small parts like brakes and tyres, frame material upgrades, options with cushions and right through to custom bolt colours and types.
Is hire available?
No. Due to high demand for product trial, limited number of demo bikes and the high value of these bikes, we cannot offer hire.
