Seat to floor height
Finding a beach chair that's easy to transfer in and out of can be a challenge. The MobiChair has a seat height of 19" which is similar to most wheelchair seat heights to help make for a seamless transfer.

Q: How do you transport the MobiChair?
A: The Mobi-Chair® floating beach wheelchair frame folds down similar to an ironing board and can be transported in most vehicles.
Q: What about maintaining the Mobi-Chair®?
A: After use your Mobi-Chair® floating beach wheelchair it should be thoroughly rinsed under fresh water to clean off sand, salt, chlorine and any dirt. Mobi-Chair® is rust free but if it is not maintained properly, rust will appear. Also lubricating the nuts, bolts and bearings of the wheels after every use will ensure your Mobi-Chairs longevity.
Q: How should we store the Mobi-Chair®?
A: We recommend storing the Mobi-Chair® floating beach wheelchair under cover, away from rain and direct sunlight.
Q: Is there a weight capacity of Mobi-Chair®?
A: The weight limit is 136kg.
Q: Is there such a thing as a paediatric sized Mobi-Chair®?
A: Mobi-Chair® floating beach wheelchair comes in one-size-fits-all. Using seating spaces, the MobiChair can be adapted for most people.

Q: How long will the Mobi-Chair® last?
A: Mobi-Chair® can last over ten years if normal use and maintenance is met.
Q: Does the Mobi-Chair® come with a tow or tether rope?
A: You bet it does. The rope allows for extra safety as well as ease of movement on the sand and in the water.
Q: How long will the tyres last and can I push the chair on the road?
A: The Mobi-Chair® tyres are made out of a thick durable rubber. The same rubber is used on car or motor bike tyres so the chair can be pushed on roads, footpaths and walkways. The thick rubber will last 10 plus years and the only maintenance is filling the tyres up with air every 12 months.
Q: What about Mobi-Chairs Warranty?
A: Push Mobility offers a one year limited guarantee from the date of purchase covering defects in materials or workmanship to the wheelchair frame only. All exceptions to this warranty are listed below. This limited one year guarantee does not include the cover seat material, armrests, or tyres. All limitations of the warranty will be assessed by Push Mobility.
This one year limited guarantee does not cover damage to the wheelchair frame due to:
- Normal wear and tear;
- Improper care, operation, maintenance or storage of the wheelchair;
- An accident or natural disaster;
- Modifications that have been made to the wheelchair without written consent of Push Mobility
