1) How do I get the wheels on my wheelchair?
The trivida® wheel has a universal quick-change axle and can be quickly and easily mounted on almost all wheelchairs. With the standard sockets of 12 mm in diameter and 50 mm in length, your trivida® bike can be mounted on the wheelchair in a matter of seconds and can be used immediately. For wheelchairs with a different 1/2-inch axle system, the wheels can be attached in a few minutes using the bushings supplied. In the few special cases with other axle mounts or wheel mounting systems, we will be happy to advise you and find a technical solution together.
2) Do I have to have my wheelchair and Trivida wheels serviced regularly?
Yes! We recommend an annual 12 month maintenance and service, which we are happy to offer you. Feel free to contact us to book an appointment.
3) Will I also get other parts with the trivida® bike?
The following is included in the scope of delivery:
- Quick-change axle: 12 mm with 50 mm insertion depth
- Matching mounting socket M16 with 50 mm insertion depth
- Sockets for 1/2 inch axle systems
- Stainless steel nut M16
4) What is the load capacity of the wheels?
The trivida® wheelchair wheel has a maximum load capacity of 75 kg - your wheelchair with trivida® wheels can therefore be loaded up to 150 kg
